At Little Cedar we breed registered pure-breed Saanen goats. The goats have significant and noteworthy pedigree behind them. They are bred with a focus on temperament and milk production.

The Does
Paperwork for any of our registered does is available for any doe that is advertised for sale. We only milk them once a day in the morning, and they give us about 2L on average (between first time lactaters and the older ones) at peak lactation. The biggest lactater has given ~4L in one morning, and the smallest lactater would typically be a first-timer who would give something like 1L on a given morning.

2021-2023 Buck – “Milo”
Milo was imported from the southern coast of NSW in 2021 and has an impressive pedigree. Milo, who was one of triplets, has good milking lines behind him and displayed a most friendly nature to children and visitors. He was an amazing addition to our breeding program and most of the younger lactaters come from him.
